Ceramics
Explore hands-on handbuilding ceramics classes focused on creating functional and sculptural forms using traditional clay techniques. These workshops introduce students to foundational methods such as pinch, coil, and slab building while emphasizing form, surface, and thoughtful craftsmanship.
Classes may include building bowls, cups, planters, small sculptures, and functional objects, along with techniques for joining clay, adding texture, and finishing surfaces. Students pieces will be fired and glazed by a partnering artist, and will be available for pick up approximately 4 weeks after the final class.
Our handbuilding ceramics classes are designed for beginners and experienced makers alike, with guidance tailored to individual skill levels. No prior ceramics experience is required — just an interest in working with clay in a supportive studio environment.
