Week Two | Food For Thought

Food For Thought

$575/ Week

Ages 6-11

June 24th - June 28th

9:00am - 3:00pm Each Day

Food For Thought is a Summer camp series rooted in connecting children to the worlds of food and nourishment through the lenses of creativity, curiosity, and connection. We will explore topics including color, season, and flavor through hands-on, sensory learning and creative projects. This series will be a full body adventure in fun and expression, which will include neighborhood field trips to local parks and the farmer’s market. Kids will be encouraged to taste, touch, and get a little messy! Each day, we will explore a different theme around food, and will complete projects that the students can bring home to share with their families including homemade pasta, plant dyed materials, and their very own potted plant.

On Tuesday, June 25th we will end the day with an optional farmer’s market tour from 3:00 – 4:00 pm that all children and/or caregivers are welcomed to join, where we will explore the Summer abundance alongside local farmers!

For the final day, June 28th, we invite family members and/or caregivers to join us from 3:00 pm – 4:00 on June 28th for a nourishing spread prepared by the children to celebrate their learnings together!

Please pack a snack and lunch for your little one, and please make sure they are dressed in clothes that can get messy! Each day, we will have lunch across the street in Highland Park, so sunscreen, water and a hat would be strongly encouraged.

  • We can offer a full refund up to 31 days before the start of your camp. Within 30 days of camp, there will be no refunds.

  • We cannot pro-rate missed days due to vacation or other conflicts.

  • Classes are limited to 14 students.

  • Masks are optional.

  • If your child is sick, please keep them home and contact us!
